Catamaran Boat Yard

Just finished in this yard. Boat yards are like the calling a plumber,
who wants a plumber.
This yard darn near made me like calling a plumber.
Our Cat is 27' wide, by the book and a few inches more we discovered.
Catamaran Boat Yard was a good experience. DIY, no hidden fees.

I read the whole web site and I still don't know where it is. Monroe County is on Lake Ontario in NY State so it's somewhere in there.

Re: Catamaran Boat Yard

It's in Key Largo, not far from the Rodriguez key anchorage. I had a good DIY experience there about 1.5 years ago. The only issue is the entrance is extremely shallow. I had to go in at half tide rising and I only draw 4 feet. Even then I touched botton once. I waited to full high tide before I left.

Well, the live aboard fee is not exactly hidden, but it is a dubious value due to no hot water in the showers, difficulty in hooking up shore power, etc. They really ought to be ashamed of their showers and heads. And yes, I've told them so.
It is great for DIY though.
