AliExpress cautionary review.

With money being a little harder to come by in retirement , I purchased components for a 200 watt MPPT solar system for my sailboat from overseas. The controller, remote panel, solar panels, and remote temperature sensor arrived, eventually. Due to a minor delay to get a cervical spine fusion, I waited a few months to install it. The remote temperature sensor was coiled up, and when I went to install it, it was 1 meter long instead of the advertised 3 meters (quite useless). It's a $9 part, but I had no success in resolving the issue. The manufacture denied selling it and AliExpress said so sorry, must be resolved with the manufacturer , leaving me with no where to go. Thankfully, it was the least expensive component, but could have been otherwise . The experience gives me pause, and I'm unlikely to make any further purchases from AliExpress in spite of the customer satisfaction guarantees they advertise on the web site.
