Cleaning PVC Dinghy

I recently purchased a 2001 Novurania RIB. What is the best product to use to clean and protect it. I think it is PVC but not sure how to tell. I am new to RIB ownership. I'm prepping for a October departure to the Bahamas from Destin, Florida. Any help is welcome.

Well since no one else has answered yet, I'll just come our and say it: simple green. I use that and a white scotch brite pad and it seems to work great.

Thanks for the info. I've looked at different forums and seem to get varying suggestion. Dinghy is in better than average condition for a 2001, just needs some TLC.

Re: Cleaning PVC Dinghy

I just finished cleaning my old dinghy this morning with Nautical Ease inflatable boat cleaner distributed by Inland Marine. It worked great! Better than many attempts with detergent or Simple Green. As per usual - I have no connection to either company - just a satisfied user. The bottle says it's good for PVC or Hypalon. Mine is hypalon.
