Small AC Units

Anyone have any experience in which unit is better?
Mermaid M5 or a Webasto FCF AC.

Re: Small AC Units

I haven't used either A/C but I have researched their specs. The Webasto has comprehensive shutdowns in their controller for high pressure, low pressure etc. And it give rudimentary diagnostics, like the Cruisair SMXII controller.

The Mermaid seems to have a simpler controller with only a high pressure shutdown.

The Websto has a stainless steel pan which should last long. Don't know about the Mermaid.
