CNG Availability In Caribbean

I know this is probably a dumb question but I would like to know if folks are able to find CNG in the caribbean, and if so specifically where?

My boat is set up with a stove that runs on CNG and the PO built a nice locker to hold 3 scuba sized tanks. Now for my regular weekend/week here and there cruising I can get nearly 2 summers out of a bottle. Of course i will burn more living aboard. But I am really looking for projects that can maybe be postponed until after we are cruising. MY list keeps growing and I know not all of this stuff has to be done here in my home port...

I actually like CNG for the fact that it is lighter than air and ss I read in the news about NG reserves and frackign and all this talk about CNG I wonder if it will improve the availability but I know it is currently not good.

Just wondering is this stuff unobtanium in the caribbean? Im thinking my 3 tanks would last me a while even living aboard...

I asked the same question a while back. Nobody had a source. I bit the bullet and made the conversion.

Yeah thats what I was figuring. Hopefully I can find conversion parts for my Hillerange stove as Im not looking forward to buying a new stove esp when the one I have has such low mileage. Cooked a pizza in it yesterday while sailing with the kids...

I got the conversion parts from Suremarine, Talk to Todd. Very helpful. I sent him some pictures and he set me up. Mine is a Hillerange too.

Awesome! Thanks for the suggestion, I have emailed them. I believe my Hillerange is the Seaward 2174 Euro version. Can you tell me roughly what the stove parts cost to convert and if it was difficult? My understanding is that from the stove perspective its a matter of changing the burners or burner orifices? Of course I have all the other stuff to take care of as well with tanks and locker and solenoids etc...
