Trawler VS Cat or Mono hull for Economics

Looking to make a informed decision about which way I should go purchasing 40' transportation.

Concerns:

Motor accessibility for maintenance.

Cost to keep boat maintained.

Travel cost from A to B.

Intentions:

Occasional trips to the Bahamas and back to Floridas West Coast. (Englewood, FL.)

Specialty Charters locally and to and from Dry Totugas / Keys.

Room on board probably needing two heads.
