Re: Cruising from SW FL to Cancun/Tulum

Thanks to all of Y'all for your sage advise. If any off y'all think of anything else that may be of assistance to me as I plan for this great cruising adventure please share your wisdom. BTW: I am having 100 gallion extra of gas tanks ( twin 50 gals), and an additional gas filtration system (one for each engine), as well as a new CHARTPLOTTER/radar/auto pilot, waster maker, solar panels built into the new fiberglass canopy over my cockpit. I am also having all non-skid surfaces re-painted to better than new condition and I am having fabricated and added safety rails from the bridge cut to the bow of my boat.
What spare parts should I take with me?
I am interested in a safety raft. If anyone has one they want to sell/lease please contact me. Same with a sat phone/ off shore Sat TV receiver. Any suggestions on brands/model suppliers etc. will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks again
T.

E-Perb would be a great idea, if you can't afford one I believe you can rent them from BoatUS.
