M/Y Top Gun dumps garbage in the Exuma Park, caught on camera

The Miami based M/Y Top Gun dumped garbage in the Cambridge Cay Park and the Captain flipped off the photographer.
Disgusting, hope they rot in Fox Hill.

That's in the Exumas?
So, how's the government there feel about folks dumping trash in parks?
They might not give a damn, or they might be willing to come out, look over the trash, and levy a fine and lien on the boat for, what, $1000 per bag?
Or perhaps they could seize the yacht as "equipment used during the commission of...."whatever, and then just take their time letting the yacht rot at a dock while they investigated.
All sorts of ways to set an example. Or, to prove no one gives a damn.

She is an 82’ sunseeker that is in charter service in the Bahamas. My suggestion is to post this on every forum you know of and encourage all and sundry to contact the charter agencies direct asking if this is standard practice.

Name and shame only works if you do more than just name.

Hopefully the Bahamians will come down heavy on this arseholes.
Too late to seize the boat, but the charter permit will be revoked for sure.
Perhaps the crew will be permanently banned.
On the US end the crew will get fired for sure, but no idea what else will happen to them..

they dump garbage on the side of the roads in the states .. stands to reason they would not hesitate to dump it in the Exumas

Well, that's not quite true, is it?

In my experience, the place that was worst for roadside garbage was Portugal. Crazy piles of rubbish everywhere in the Algarve, even in fairly uninhabited areas out of town. I'd never seen anything like it, and I lived in England which is known for roadside "fly-tipping".

one can only hazard a guess that since the USCG is being allowed to operate as a military agency
Alexander Hamilton originated the Revenue Cutter Service as the military arm of the Treasury Department in order to stop smuggling (in 1790), so it's ALWAYS been a military agency.

Easy, guys. Maybe they had or have an arrangement with a local for subsequent disposal. It looks terrible, I agree, and if the above is the case, I'm sure the charter company would like to clear their name.

If I had video of such an event, there might be a temptation to make a copy and send it to the local police. They may not want to bother with it, but they probably prefer it weren't done.

Gotta say the Cleanest city that I have ever been was in the USA - St Louis - This was 30 years ago though.

I was so impressed that I actually went looking for rubbish for about 10 mins and could not even find a cigarette butt and in those days everyone smoked!

Only 1 boat with that name, an 82 Sunseeker.
Seems to be a fishing charter outfit called Top Gun Charters, but not the name of their boat.
