Hurricane Henriette's score in Escondido: 8+

Boats damaged in hurricane at Puerto Escondido

California Boating guide is reporting at least 8 boats sunk, capsized, or damaged during Hurricane Henriette's passage near Puerto Escondido, Mexico.

"None of the boats with a skipper or owner on board dragged anchor during the hurricane," said Connie Sunlover of Hidden Port Yacht Club in Puerto Escondido to California Boating guide.

Four moorings at Singlar failed during the storm, including one which was not in use by a boat. One boat, tied to the seawall, was sunk by the dinghy dock which had broken into three pieces. From the article:

At press time, Boardroom, Backstreet and Last Mango were not yet salvaged. For more information, visit HPYC.
