Not So Many Out

Just got back from a tour of the San Juans and an evening anchored along side the Lady Washington. The weather was passable and most of the anchorages were very lightly used. As usual I kept an eye out for any CFr's out there but none were in evidence.

The boat was great, no problems at all. I find it hard to believe the battery life she gets, and even with showers and fresh water flushing we never ran low on water in 6 days out. Several very nice legs under sail as well.

I hope some of you guys are stowing the computers and watches and phones and getting out there too. What a welcome change of head space.

I'm working my arse off trying to get out there. 2-3 more weeks, I hope.

It looks like last years weather again, so far. The 4th week end drew out a few but it seems the price of fuel is keeping the population down.

That's why I went to sailboats back in the early 80's. After that first gas crunch in 73 the whole US of A went into survival mode.
