I'm a Smart Alec and Full of Hot Air !

Howdy folks...... Been lurking here for a while and figured it was time to join.
I've got 4 kids, ages 3 thru 20. Two oldest are step sons from a previous marrieage that didn't want to leave. the youngest.... well, we almost named her Whoops! Hopefully she'll be smarter than the 3 boys.
Lovely wife! (Mine, not yours) She has a blog called SailingRN if you want to look it up. She's a nurse, good thing as I'm prone to accident. I have decided that guy Murphy made his living predicting my life.
Oh, we have an actual boat. It's a Gulfstar 44 cc...... it's my favorite toy.... besides the wife.
We sail when we aren't working. Oh and fish, hunt, ballgames, family stuff, ocassional gorging over dead animal from the smoker.....and then there's all the home made wine..... the need for which is brought about by aforementioned kids. All except the little cute one, she's the perfect child.... uh.... so far!
That's it for now. Will be helping deliver a sailboat from West Palm Beach, Floriday to Galveston, Texas in november. Pray for no hurricanes. That's the other thing a do.... regular praying, it goes well with the bad sailing habit!
God Bless to all. Thanks in advance for tolerating me!

Oooh, another Smartalec, I'm so excited! Smart Alecs are so much fun!!! And it sounds like you will be too. Welcome aboard, and I hope you enjoy the forum as much as we do!

PS - Post a link to your wife's blog - we all love a good read, but I'm too lazy to look it up!

Is this it?

Sailing RN: The Luff

Not much there but nice boat....
Also, you will have to go some to compete with the hot air on this forum.

Yup, that's the Admirals Blog. She's a school nurse on top of taking care of all us kids so she's kind of busy. I'll mention that someone actually found the blog. I'm sure she'll be embarassed enough to do some updates.
Any Sailor Jerry Fans? That's my favorite drink when I'm not stuffing dead animal in the pie hole. I've found a good Cab or Merlot is great for dead animal. The purist will cringe but a good Cabernet is awesome with Bar-B-Que.... the southern variety. Not that watery looking stuff the Yankees eat.
I'll try to be a little more open next time......

Nice boat. But it only has a single hull. One hull is missing.

Cabernet or Merlot is great with or without 'Dead Animal'.... so's a good Shiraz...

Welcome aboard.
We'll soon beat all that political correctness out of you... you just need to loosten up a little.
By the way, we all enjoy a good sense of humour here.
With a bit of work you could make it...

I see what ya mean about one of the hulls being missing. There was a band of gyspsy catamaran sailors came through not long ago. They must have stole it.....wonder why none of the kids are missing?
