So basically I'm slowly but surely putting money away for some kind of sailboat (finances will dictate), and I need to learn the field, so thus I need to subscribe to some forums to learn what I'm talking about.

There are quite a number of UK members onboard both local and expat.Using the search feature will bring you a myriad of helpful and very useful information. I have always found the forum of enormous assistance and entertainment and am sure you will too.
