Suitable Sailboat for a North Atlantic Crossing

Am looking at a 1998 Tartan 4100, tall rig, shoal keel to cross from Halifax to Oban in June month... Anything I'm missing on why this would not be a suitable craft? Will increase tankage along with other upgrades. Many thanks in advance for your comments.
