Morgan OI51 lower pindle

Does anyone have any experience with rebuilding/replacing the lower pindle on a Morgan OI51?
I did ours 10 years ago and it seems to need it again.
No other electro issues showing up, zincs last long time, but the pindle seems to go away too fast.
I had made a new one then out of 304 Stainless , so it should , I think last near for ever.
Anyone else with any experience here?

Pardon my ignorance but what is a "lower pindle"? I've tried googling it but came up with ......nothing!

Maybe it was a typo and was meant to be "pintle"?

If that is the case it would be in sea water all the time and should be made out of 316 Stainless Steel and not 304. Stainless 304 is for above the waterline

304/L grade of stainless steel is one of the more popular grades for making components that will hold up well when exposed to salt water but not submerged in it. It is an austenitic alloy that includes chromium and nickel and is lower in carbon than the standard 304 grade of stainless

If you want a permanent solution, you'll have to do some sketch work and get one cat in bronze with some sort of delrin bushing/liner.

or below the waterline either get it made of 316 or get 2 made of 304 and keep one as a spare for 10 years from now. and make sure it has a zinc bolted to it
