Hunter Legend 35 chainplate anchor replacement

I am the new owner of an '88 Legend 35.

Overall seems to be in quite good shape.



It is on the hard and I have 2 items on the winter project list.....so far.

The first one is rudder bearing replacement. Should be pretty straight forward.

The next is chainplate rod anchors.

Looks to be a simple enough job. Cut access hole in the liner fore/aft of the anchor, remove/replace through this hole. Found a good thread on it for an H34, which seems to be very similar.

What I have not found is anything about removing the settee back. Would like to take it out intact if possible.

Has anyone done this on a HL35?

On my legend, this all held in place by #2 philips screws.

Please let me know how it goes. I need to do the same on my legend.
