Updates.
The inside of the Skeg is all black, I think it’s just from the sea water trapped in it discoloring the glass, I grounded a very thin layer down and the color went back to normal( as in pic...

No it’s not oil, I drained all the moisture out, it’s sea water trapped in it. The black thing seems to be discolored glass, I grounded a very thin layer from the inside and saw that the black layer...

Here is some update.
There was water in the Skeg. I grounded the lower part and water streamed out.
I was wondering, the entire inside looks kind of black to me, are they all rotten? Is there a way...

-yeah it is on the Dufour 35
- not really, it’s in the meds, maybe a couple days in a year that gets below zero

Water in bilge and maybe keel

Hey guys.

So I bought a Dufour 35, and I found there is oil and water in the bilge. I tried to pump most of it out, but due to having oil in the bilge I can’t really see the bottom of the bilge....
