Re: Cruising sailor finds massive ancient temple site in Philippines

Stop pratting about in a boat and borrow a plane equipped with LIDAR.

Re: Belgian customs at it again

Interesting comment, but it is clearly not the case. The customs could enforce the VAT on the principle of requiring proof of payment of VAT and examining fuel tanks and receipts to ensure vat has...

Re: Belgian customs at it again

My solution is simple... I am not going anywhere near Belgium.

But I am sending emails to all the clubs and restaurants that I would have visited saying why I am not visiting them.. One thing...

Seems someone in Belgain customs has decided to make a name for himself.

They are now boarding and sampling boats from the UK and fining owners if there are traces of marked (red) fuel. The Uk...

Re: Relacing an Outremer 40/43

The budget should be quite good... ( this depends on plan A working).

We only sail two up so we really don't want anything bigger than 40 odd feet long as it is more than we need and the sails...

Relacing an Outremer 40/43

Sometime in the future, we are likely to replace Tomahawk. (PS please do not let her know).

I have an iPad. It is a bit like me and rather old running on an old IOS. I don't want to "upgrade" to the latest because there are lots of reports about problems.
However,...

Re: Thoughts about propellors..
