I last filled up at Hammond Port Services in Dover. They supply pilot boats and a number of other port activities. I paid vat on the fuel I bought and obtained a receipt.

It would be good if we had some members from Belgium who could have a look at the various harbours etc. Obviously there are likely to be very few UK boats in Belgium. But does that make a difference?

We have very little below the waterline and carry lots of windage wnen the wind is sideways on. Getting off a pontoon, or turning round when the wind is across you is very duifficult.
