That will still be too much for Gecko he wants to be paid to visit I think and so he can whinge some more. With a bit of luck the bond will keep him away so the rest can enjoy the place.

Brent is correct about the refund in French Pacific Francs but if I remember correctly you can still go to some of the other islands Bora Bora etc after so you have the chance to use the money (fuel)...
