That doesn't work. There have been numerous alternatives brought up during this thread and they were ignored........except for the Lagoon.

As this is a vessel for sale in the US and for sale by a broker I believe it would follow the protocol which is contract and 10% deposit.
I can see very little advantage in your way of purchasing....

The norm is to have a signed contract and a 10% deposit put down before a sea trial. The sea trial is usually, but not always done the same day as the survey so the surveyor can check out the sails...

The point of posting details of the other boats was to give you a reference to the asking prices of similar boats. I would suggest you find a good broker(hard to find:-)) and go over the comps.

Here's a cat on the west coast of Mexico, which in my mind would be a comparable boat to the LeRouge. The ad is locked in the Lattitude 38 magazine.

Maybe they removed weight from the bow rather than adding weight to the stern:-). Seems to me the op has spent a lot of time on her as well as doing a lot of research, I'm sure he's probably aware...
