So... why don't you move your boat to a cheaper dock in the manner I outlined a few pages back? Instead of asking others to pay your high dock fees. Three months ago we shpped for the cheapest best...

I've offered up some very reasonable advice (unlike most others) on how you can actually achieve your goal of bringing your boat back home.

Please tell us why you cannot return or sell your $3000...

Why would you purchase a $3000 radar and decide not to spend any money on a survey or sea trial? That doesn't make any sense. Every bank I know of requires a marine survey prior to funding a boat...

I already did; by advising them to sell or return the $3000 radar (they don't need right now) then rent a slip and fix the engine with the money. Return the sails too if necessary.... and pull up...

No.... what's actually out of order is the OP buying sails and a new $3000 before test driving their boat. IMHO.

Sell or take back the radar, rent a slip, then fix the engine and quit whining. ...

When we purchased our Hunter 450, our situation was the same. I don't remember whining about it and looking for some free towing. We immediately shopped the San Fran Bay area for the best mooring...
