The beauty of in mast furling is your reef points are infinite. where the rest of us have to make do with three and three could be too much or too little. |

The more reef points you have the easier it is to reef, trying to put in a very deep reef can be a handful on a big sail.. |

Three reef points is the only way to go, and have the sail maker make them deep. |
