Regardless the thruster came with the boat and i 'aint about to remove it, Med mooring with one engines not a huge challenge but manoeuvring in a very tight marina in 20+ knots a different beast... |

A vast majority of boats in the MED have thrusters, the quay's and marina's tight and crowded. I had never seen cats with thrusters prior as i had done all my sailing in Australia. With one... |

We have a bow-thruster (swing-thruster) and there was an unused joystick with the boats spares and the Aussie agent gave me a redundant pad control. I mounted them there as well as an anchor... |

I totally agree that the inside helm isn't really usable with limited visibility etc, maybe a cold weather option but i think fogging of windows would restrict. Being a warm weather sailor i helm... |
