Just FYI...

If you have 30 year old screws through teak, there's a good chance they are now corroded in a funnel shape and structurally simply gone. If you have pulled the plugs you should extract...

there's a sealer for teak. Old school was to varnish teak. Bad idea. teak oil peels off varnish. Always ends in tears.

Teak sealer works best, as it is made to not crack w/the seeping teak...
