My thanks to everyone who chimed in. I decided this AM to discuss it with the Manager of Derecktor Boatyard, Mamaroneck. He promised me a new base at reasonable cost for next week.

I own a Corbin 39, built 1981. I always thought the rig had been built in Annapolis, MD.
It is an oval base, measuring 8 7/8" x 5 1/2" x 1 13/16". The base plate is 3/8" thick.
I do not know how...

The aluminum mast base of the deck stepped mast had corroded to a degree that it had to be cut off when the mast was unstepped. I do not know the manufacturer of the rig. I sent pictures and...
