May I enquire what you mean by moving the shunt around,
I thought the shunt stayed in the same place all the time,

Thanks for that,
Thats what I was after, Lightning had fried the wiring in the mast and inside the boat where it could not be seen,
This has all been replaced by me,
I never had to learn about...

I can sail now, 3000 Nmiles sort of helps, 50 years of previous motor boats also helps,
Like I said, Try and be helpfull, I only want to know about the electrics,

Like I said previously, I dont know what power im using, No Idea,
I had a day and a half to learn systems I knew nothing about from the PO of my boat, Then he left, I was on my own,

Deck light is bright enough, But I do want to sleep at night,
Most of the other yachts had their nav lights on too, I wasnt Robinson Crusoe,

I was on a swing mooring in a bay surrounded by other yachts on swing moorings and motor boats scorching past at all hours,
I kept my lights on, I want to be seen,

Daytime, Laptop only, VHF,

At anchor, at night,
I have Nav lights on, Tricolour, front and rear Nav lights,
VHF, Salon and cockpit lights,
