There's a Searunner 40 for sale in Canada, now named HABITAT. Construction was apparently started in 1992, built by one man. She was launched in 2001 in Portland Or. under the name Sergeant Lewis. ... |

Difficult to understand why anyone would take a derelict boat in that condition and try to restore it piecemeal, let alone go to sea in it. Whatever life that boat had was long over way before those... |

Thanks to the wonders of the internet I've come across Larry Pardey's criticism of epoxy used in boatbuilding. I'm wondering if anyone has come across or knows of any epoxy failures among Searunners.... |

I must agree with Steve. I can't find other boats that interest me as much as the Searunners, at least without getting into several hundreds of thousands of dollars. Even those boats don't really... |
