It's already been stated, AC WMs aren't for everyone.

Inverters are useful for other appliances, and depending on what you deem essential will determine how large the inverter. Toaster?...

With an inverter, you can also run an AC WM while running the auxiliary.... get the same FREE water. No???

Amount of diesel burned generating power is related to amount of the power draw. Hence, you'll burn more diesel running a less efficient WM, the point I was trying to make is how much more fuel burn...

There are options to obtaining fresh water (buying water is one), downsides and upsides to each choice. Since, I've yet to buy a WM, it would be nice to see the various choices, the pros and cons,...
