Yes. I thought being older had its advantages as well (except when it came to call and being up for 36+ hrs straight). What was/is your specialty and do you still practice?

I had to redo all my undergrad as well. So, went back to school at 34 and I entered med school at 38.

Presently, I'm an emergency physician (since 2000).

Before that, minister/pastor for 17 years.

Mixed into the years before medicine... worked at Burger King, drove school bus, carpet...
