This is getting to be more and more of a problem. Perfectly good equipment having to be replace, often by inferior, because of lack of spares. I carried around a wire with a swage fitting on one... |

You could switch to a stainless wire of similar construction for a little higher wire cost and achieve rigging with extended working life for even less overall cost. |

Your instincts are sound Cheechako. Engineers describe keeping the column straight as "in column" and when the column goes out a whole new set of bending parameters come into play. I think it was... |

Definitely stay with the Stayloks and going up a size on the wire did much more good than harm. I had a couple of failures with the roll form terminals and found that on both occasions the failure... |
