Time to start tracing wires. First I'd disconnect the + on each battery individually, and see what battery you are getting power from. Then I'd look for any DIY wiring on that battery which could...

as you have probably figured out, If the rotary switch is put on any position but #3 only, the engine battery will probably feed the DC panel with the other two battery banks switched off..

The original 3 switches were Beneteau. One black ground for both batteries, and a read positive switch for each of two batteries.
