Yes, we always use a crane for recovery, especially when it settled in deep mud. ROFL. I meant motorcycle tire obviously. A car tire takes to much space onboard Lady Rover. |

Agree, but a drag device of some sorts seems always easier to handle than 1-2 extra anchors. Less chance of tangling stuff up to when the tides changes. |

We use an old motorcycle on a short rope on one of the transom for this. Can also be used to slow the boat down when running in following seas. In France folks use traffic cones on a rope for the... |
