Re: The Advantages of Being a 100 Ton Captain

Re: The Advantages of Being a 100 Ton Captain

Re: The Advantages of Being a 100 Ton Captain

Because I sail singlehanded, I'm looking at the PDQ 36. Is that big enough for your needs. I'm one of those people that insist on a full size chart table/nav station and the PDQ has a fold down table...

Re: The Advantages of Being a 100 Ton Captain

Hey Jonesy, nice to meet you. How do you like your tri?

I try and put my best foot forward when showboating, so here is the picture I was taking at the same time my mug was being recorded. Mary...

Re: The Advantages of Being a 100 Ton Captain

I'll always remember that name, same as the next door neighbor girl that I had my very first crush on, Karen Davidson circa 1958, Glendora, California.

For the bots that crawl the forums, I'll...

Re: The Advantages of Being a 100 Ton Captain

I haven't owned "too many" just sailed on too many, and unlike the Cruiser's Critic forum (for the cruise ship folks), I wasn't going to put on my avatar header every ship I've been on. Some of the...

Re: The Advantages of Being a 100 Ton Captain

On the drill ships (rigs) no, and I don't understand why. I've never met a woman in the maritime disciplines that couldn't do the job as well, if not better, than the men. When at CMA, a fellow...

Re: The Advantages of Being a 100 Ton Captain

I just pulled my cover out of the closet and my brass is tarnished green. That would have gotten me demerits from an upperclassman that was young enough to be my son during my academy days. I did get...
