My comment was well grounded in reality. At 62 YO, I regularly single hand FP 44's doing day and multi-day charters. But all those sails are limited to 8-10 hours underway. Especially in the winter...

Ahhhhhh--- when in doubt reef before dark. Perhaps mastering the use of jacklines and tethers would also be prudent.
