you can get an mmsi from boat us for free.

I think most people have no idea how to reply to a dsc call! I have had it for a while now, and have no idea how to use it myself. No real good...

have the 2200. works well. thanks for the last posts about updates to the unit. will check to see if I need it. I do like that the gps info can be output to the NMEA stream as well as the AIS/DSC...
