Also, FWIW, but the trick is to figure out how much caulk to lay down between carefully masked surfaces so that when you smooth it all out, you aren't dealing with massive extra, or not enough....

291 is definitely the wrong material. Not UV resistant to the degree necessary. Sika's product for this application is 295 UV.

To the OP - what you described is the Activator, which just cleans...
