Yes, Thailand or even Malaysia is the best place to buy boats in that area.

There are plenty of boats around Phuket, Pattaya and Langkawi etc.

Also keep an eye on Boatshed Phuket and Yacht-Broker Charters (langkawi) for boats. You would have to sail under malaysia to get to Cambo. But it would be a nice trip all the same around 1200-1400...

No problem... Ask as many as you like :-D I am a massive fan of Snooky. Its what Bali was 30 years ago. No starbucks, no KFC.

Watch this video, it drags a little in parts, and not absolutely...

I was there mid last year and heading back again in a month. The islands of Sihanoukville are small but very untouched by western hands. Aside from a few bungalows there are no hyatts or hiltons...

Engineering and labor is cheap in Cambodia. You may be able to get a local machine shop to make things like Bollards, subject to the quality of materials available.

The port is very industrial at Snooky, as you would know. And doesn't lend itself as a cruising destination itself. My thoughts are that many visitors would be passing through only and as others have...
