Wrong, try the official OCPN version for macOS and you will see.

Because you don't have a Mac here are the screenshots of the official version and my version.

I don't know what Dave has done but it is bad.
Formerly the plugin list in the plugin window of options settings shows the short description of plugins and the long description only when the field...
