The rest of the post is very worthwhile advice :thumb:.....but for anyone starting the boat buying / owning escapade the above snippet is worth printing out and sellotaping to forehead :thumb:.

I only buy something based on it's value to me - not to someone else, whether that be a Broker, a Vendor or someone peddling lists of "secret" sale prices (yeah, right!). The only exception to that...
