Just had our chain done by them, happy with the result. And the price, 60m 10mm chain, $180.

A couple of friends boats have too, all are happy.

The idea when using the rope in addition to the chain is to not let the rope reach the bottom.

We've never needed anything like 100m. And anchoring at Bait reef is illegal.

There are far better places to see better coral and anchor in much shallower water, Hardy lagoon, hook reef or black...

Our chain, and that of our friends, was excellent. Looked like new chain.

Maybe they've improved their method.

Well yes. The galvanizing wears off, then the chain starts to rust. If it has only lightly rusted, regalvanizing makes it (almost) like new again.

Our anchor and chain gets used almost every day....

For Qld, the 40 metres would be ok. You can even get it re galvanised in Bundaberg on your way North.
