Maybe you need to actually read what I said. I was talking about what I've seen. To say you disagree is nonsensical. You're saying I didn't see what I've seen?

You didn't see many monos at all in the photos. There were hundreds there though. You'd need scuba gear to photograph them.....

The fact that large numbers of boats didn't survive 150 + mph winds...

That's because you own a mono, and cat owners rarely denigrate monos, and usually only in jest.

But the fact is, plenty of mono owners will denigrate cats, calling them rafts, unseaworthy, ugly...

Yep, amusing to see a relative know-nothing denigrating catamarans, when just about any cat would sail rings round his boat.

A sailor was lost overboard in this year's clipper race, who was reportedly using safety harness and tether.

And the fact is, most cruising sailors often don't use them.

The crew of the cat were unhurt. In the same storm a monohull sailor went overboard and drowned.

If safety is your main concern, the fact is that the vast majority of fatalities are due to people...
