Are the narrows still open? I heard talk of an overhead pipeline closing them off to masted vessels. |

I've heard, (never tried it ourselves) that you can order your provisions from Coles at Cannonvale, and have them delivered to Hamilton island for a very modest fee. ($7 was mentioned) Might be worth... |

Sydney mid May to Cairns mid July, that's not going slowly! We'll be heading north from Brisbane early june. |

There's a Coles shopping centre within easy walking distance of the VMR ramp. (from memory 200-300m) You could get a taxi back, but it's really not far to push a shopping trolley. (and return it of... |

My understanding is that boats not normally moored in pioneer bay won't be insured for NAMED STORMS there. You'd be OK for collisions etc though. There's been so many moored boats written off in... |
