In portable mode the data is stored in the same location as the application. Just out of curiosity, what prevents you to synchronize the files from the normal location? |

Both holding the mouse cursor near the edge of the screen and pressing arrow keys on the keyboard should pan the view while drawing a route. They do for me on macOS as well as all the other systems. |

OpenCPN does not currently support these (Guessing from the file extensions). If the files are GeoTIFF, you can use the Photolayer plugin to display them as overlay. Or convert them to either KAP or... |

As it seems your HW is too ancient to support OpenGL properly, disable it completely by setting DisableOpenGL=1 in the config file. And then finally get that somewhat newer hardware, please. |

Any, some with glitches. What does "UI doesn't launch" mean exactly? I highly doubt LXDE is the problem, it is what pretty much everybody using OpenCPN on a Raspberry Pi has. |

What language do you have set for the user interface? If it is Arabic, switch to other language of your preference (English is just one higher in the list) and restart OpenCPN. |
