I read that Malcious mischief link, but don't think it applies here.
The boat owner/operator didn't hit me or my neighbor's dock on purpose, he's just an old fart with no clue of what he's doing....

There were a total of FOUR witnesses including me and my wife.
The insurance company didn't contact anyone.
As far as they were concerned, it didn't even happen !

SAFECO INSURANCE denies any damage.

SAFECO INSURANCE will not even let me see the surveyor's photos or his report.

All I got was a letter telling me to go fly a kite.
