The video might not be the best source of information.
No loctite to hold in the seal.
Always check the flange for movement before undoing the nut.
Always check the splines for wear.

The easy part is changing the seal but usually the leak appears as a symptom of a loose output flange and this in turn causes the bearing spacer to flog around and wear which means that the bearing...
