Yeah.. but it's not a heavy duty MOB pole thingy that's the same dimensions deflated more or less that I am suggesting, it's an inflatable balloon.. that expands as it fills. How big is an 11"... |

Personally methinks a 10ft or even a 5ft balloon is to large.. I would consider maybe 2 to 3ft max.. considering an 11" balloon takes around 11L of air to fill, 22L to 33L of pressurised air should... |

I am sure today's technology can come up with a tough expandable material durable enough to last 24hrs max.. Let's face it except in tropical waters, after maybe 6hrs it often becomes a recovery... |

Thanks Fran... who knows, maybe some wealthy entrepreneur on here will give it a go and simplify the current complexity/risks in MOB scenarios.. both the locating and the recovery. |

I had an idea for a self inflating balloon fitted in the collar of a purpose built life jacket (crotch strapping harness) with a fine yet strong line (500kilo BS) attached for use in MOB situations.... |
