Catching the midnight train to Madrid then on to Barcelona tomorrow.. sail Saturday for Almerimar to stock up for a week then a run to Gran Canaria to provision with fresh for the crossing... so...

Cheers mate.. trip for me ends at Tortola, BVI's as the change of plan from 2nd week Feb to this w/end cut short the time to arrange a B1/B2 visa to enter Puerto Rico.. so it'll be Beef Island to PR...

The 1st 600 miles are going to be miserable.. cold, headwinds and a fair amount of motoring.. Westerlies are dominant at present sweeping across the Atlantic.. here's hoping the Polar situation...

I am taking a new Catana across to the Caribe and we are setting off this month.. so will/should be in the St Martin/BVI area mid to end of Feb.. ahh..!! sunshine...:smitten:
