If your buying in the Caribe then sailing for the Med.. why don't you buy in the Med/Europe and do the Caribe on your way home.. its a much easier sail than the W - E Atlantic crossing.. that is if...

They're a Brokerage.. so like any other they'll be on their own side.. as for surveyors my experience is an independent surveyor is working for you whereas one with recommendations from the dealer...
