However a great many 'Newbie Voyagers' don't spend 15yrs sailing around in a 27ft Catalina before buying a 40+ftr... they just buy the 40+ftr... like these folk...

Examples like this are why I always suggest 30 - 37ft for would be newbie voyagers... 40+ft with all the bigger and often more complex equipment on board is just to much for one or two relatively...

And another dream bites the dust... bet the boats salvaged in the next coupla days... anyone here still in Pago Pago... met a some members who'd been there a coupla years... :D
