Thanks Gord,

Those files are helpful. The plunger is operating but for some reason it will not release………??

Too much gunk and or over serviced with grease. Previous owner did not pay much...

Just finished servicing all of the winches on the boat……..except one.

It is a small Barlow 15 reefing winch. The other 15 has the normal allen wrench threaded bolt to remove the drum…….etc. ...
