Another option is custom SS handrail inside with castle nuts using the bolts for the outside rail. |

Geez.... I think many of us missed the word "interior". I know I did! :banghead: Heck, I would just drill and tap for machine screws without going through the exterior skin.or you could install brass... |

I'm thinking the teak will split or the bolt will break before a fender washer gets pulled through the cabin top.... |

I might consider just screwing the handrail from the bottom up with large screws if not using it for lashing a dingy etc. But really they should be thru bolted. A fender washer underneath is plenty.... |

Murphys rules of 5200: when you need to take something off, it will not budge and may peel gel with it. If dont want something to come off, it will peel right off cleanly. Despite all te bitching on... |
